Hi, I'm Siyao Zhang
From content automation pipelines to economic forecasting models — I design AI workflows, ship products with vibe coding, and measure what actually works.
Most people use AI as a tool. I design AI-native workflows — systems where multiple AI agents handle entire production chains end-to-end, from decision-making to execution to self-review. My content pipeline runs six specialised agents that took a debut Douyin video to 76,000+ views and consistently hit a 14.3% save rate (vs. 3% industry average). That's not prompting — that's systems design.
I'm an M2 economist at Panthéon-Sorbonne with a dual degree in Finance from UIBE Beijing. Economics gave me an empirical mindset — and right now, getting the most out of AI is itself an empirical science. You try things, measure what works, push boundaries, analyse the data, and iterate. That's how I approach everything: dispatch optimisation in Python, content hook experiments, or designing agent chains.
I work across four languages and three continents. I've coordinated 100+ volunteer programmes (including the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics) and built a digital platform to 2,000+ subscribers. But what I'm really doing is building toward a future where one person with the right AI systems can outproduce an entire team — and I'm proving it with my own work first.

Each project started with a real problem — and turned into a system I actually use.
6 specialised AI agents in one pipeline
Personal project — Built with Claude Code
A full-stack AI agent chain that automates the entire content production lifecycle: topic filtering (3-layer validation), scriptwriting, hook optimisation, title generation, AI-writing detection, and post-publish data review with meta-analysis. Each agent is a specialised prompt system — not a one-shot ChatGPT query, but a designed workflow with structured inputs, diagnostic logic, and feedback loops.
Personal project — Built entirely through conversation with Claude Code
Designed and shipped this portfolio site without writing code manually — the entire build happened through natural-language conversation with Claude Code. From layout decisions to responsive design to scroll animations, every element was directed through prompts, not a code editor.
Deloitte Case Study — Supervised group project, Paris
Designed an end-to-end quantitative framework for South Africa's electricity system. Built and benchmarked six forecasting models (ARIMA through to TFT deep learning), then implemented a dispatch optimisation model minimising system cost under carbon, capacity, and contractual constraints.
Big Data for Development — Group research, Panthéon-Sorbonne
Built an exposure index measuring how susceptible European occupations are to robotics adoption, using Latent Semantic Analysis on patent and job description corpora. Found that middle-wage, routine-task occupations face the greatest automation risk — consistent with labour market polarisation theory.
Independent Initiative — Beijing
Founded and managed a digital content platform that scaled to 2,000+ subscribers. Led coordination of 100+ volunteer programmes, including operations training for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Oversaw content strategy and stakeholder communications.
Guosheng Securities — Beijing
Conducted quantitative analysis of pharmaceutical pricing and reimbursement policy. Contributed to analytical reports synthesising regulatory impact assessments for internal publication and client-facing research.
I design systems where multiple AI agents handle entire workflows — from decision-making to execution to self-review.
Data is how I verify that AI systems actually work. Every experiment needs numbers instead of intuition.
Four languages mean smaller information gaps and real cross-border capability.
